Understanding the objectives of a learning strategy is essential for any student. It allows him to have a better comprehension, appreciation, and retention of the subject matter by focusing on the target learning of the course. Accordingly, the Doctoral Education for Advanced Nursing Practice provides eight essentials for each student to develop, which is beneficial in their academic journey and their practice. In line with this, this paper will focus on the author’s topic entitled “The role of Providers on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention,” using the essentials outlined for AACN. The author believes in knowing how to narrow down one’s topic and apply it to real-world problems in healthcare.

The Essentials of AACN
The Scientific Underpinnings of Practice
The scientific underpinnings of practice provide the importance and goal of translating one’s theoretical and practical knowledge into studies that could be used to improve the quality of care (AACN.Org, 2006). This essential necessitates the use of science-based procedures for study and the capacity to create new knowledge that would provide a holistic improvement to the quality of care. In line with this, the author’s study aims to provide a scientific and holistic approach to design preventive and proactive care mechanisms appropriate for different sectors of society.

Organizational and Systems Leadership
The essential for organizational and systems leadership promote the importance of creating established and repeatable standards that can be used within healthcare organizations or for policy-making purposes (AACN.Org, 2006). This essential is broader than the provision of care since it also includes the responsibility to improve administrative, financial, and other external circumstances within a healthcare organization. Accordingly, the author’s study aims to integrate and design methods for preventive care through collaborative efforts between health providers and the community. In turn, this could be used for policy-making purposes in the future.

Your task this week is to choose your favorite course concept or term that we’ve covered thus far. You might choose a term that you find particularly interesting, something that you didn’t know before, something that’s a little unique…whatever you want. The only term you cannot choose for this exercise is “globalization.” Anything else is fair game. Once you’ve chosen your term or concept, I’d like you to create a meme that reflects the concept. Include your meme in your post. Then, briefly (in one paragraph) explain your meme. Why did you pick this term, what are you trying to convey in your meme. Be original and creative. You won’t be able to see your classmates posts until you post so duplicate concepts will not be penalized. Your meme and explanation paragraph must be your original work. Term: Free Trade

1. Why do you think Alexie in Absolutely True Diary and Baldwin in “Sonny’s Blues” decided to tell their stories partly through artforms other than words? We see many of Junior’s drawings, and in several styles, and Baldwin uses contrasting musical styles as a key motif in “Sonny’s Blues.” Write one or two paragraphs on each work (do not compare and contrast.) For background on Alexie, read the interview with illustrator Ellen Forney at the back of ‘Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.” Why does the book use contrasting styles and how does it tie in with writing styles/moods from chapter to chapter?
For Baldwin, listen to and learn about the radical change from traditional jazz (like Louis Armstrong), to modern Bebop (‘Bird’/Charlie Parker). Do some web research before you write. Why did many middle-class, religious, and older blacks attack and dislike Bebop? Who in ‘Sonny’s Blues’ is aligned with each? Why do you think Baldwin uses contrasting jazz styles and gospel music to tell this particular story about an African American artist and his family?   2. Select one key character in Go Tell It on the Mountain who is not given a separate chapter (ie, not John, Gabriel, Florence, Elizabeth). How is that character treated as both believable, complex, and human, yet also at the same time as a symbolic, even Biblical figure? What part does he or she play in the intertwined stories of racist violence, prayers, visions, sin, and redemption?

(if known) What is its tectonic setting? Is it near a plate boundary? If so, which boundary, and how are the plates moving relative to each other? When have its major eruptions taken place? What happened during those eruptions? What kinds of rock has the volcano produced? What is the likelihood this volcano will erupt again in our lifetimes? How dangerous might these future eruptions be? Include at least one photograph of your volcano. Be sure to use APA format to document its source. Share any other fascinating facts you have learned about your volcano. Urinalysis This is a Hands-On Labs exercise that explores the characteristics of urine and what can cause those characteristics to change. You will be doing a visual inspection of urine and testing it with urinalysis test strips to assess the concentration of various compounds that may be present. Procedure Follow the directions for the Urinalysis experiment. Perform both parts: fasting and drinking distilled water. Record the data from the visual inspection and from the test strips in tables. Use that data to write a report, following the directions below for submission. **You do not need to submit the Lab Report Assistant**. Create a Report Use the following outline to describe the data from your lab in a report. Label each portion of the lab as described below. Introduction: Start with a broad discussion of urine formation, and then narrow your focus to the question(s) that you are trying to answer. Conclude the introduction with a hypothesis—a statement that reflects what you believe the outcome of this lab will be. It’s a good idea to include a discussion of how you think each characteristic of urine tested will change between the fasting and distilled water consumption parts. Material List: Identify all items that you used and the exact quantities, as applicable. This may be a very short section. Methods: Describe how you conducted the experiment, including any safety precautions you took while performing the lab. Be sure to include any changes that you made to the original instructions. Did you use different exercises? This should be a short, paraphrased version of the methods from the lab. Do not copy from the lab; Turnitin will highlight it as plagiarism. Results/Data: Create a table or a figure that reflects/compares the results of your experiment. Discussion: Review your results and determine if your experiment supports or refutes your hypothesis. Explain why. Then expand your discussion to address why and how your body creates the changes you observed as you increased the level of hydration. What effect does fasting have on the results? Be specific and give details. Conclusion: End with a section describing something that really intrigued you; identify errors that may have impacted your results, or note errors in the lab itself; and provide recommendations for future labs. Requirements: If you are doing the report, it should be 4-5 pages long, not including the title page. Reference at least two journal articles. Include a title page and references at the end. Follow the CSU-Global Guide to Writing and APA.

The purpose of this assignment is to learn how to apply the t-test to a sample dataset. For this assignment, students will use IBM SPSS Statistics and the “Example Dataset.” Using the “Example Dataset” and SPSS, apply the t-test to assess the following statement: “Men and women have different incomes in this city.” Show your calculations and copy of the SPSS output in a Word document. In a separate 250-500 Word document, address the following questions: Describe what t-test is the most appropriate and explain why. Discuss whether you used a one-tailed or two-tailed test and explain why. Using SPSS, calculate the t-test and provide the test statistic and critical value assuming an alpha of .05. Calculate the effect size using r2. Interpret the results by (a) stating the reason the study or test was done, (b) presenting the main results, (c) explaining what the results mean, and (d) making suggestions for future research. Submit both Word documents to the instructor. APA style is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.

The next step in the process of acquiring information is to move past what we can think of onto what we can see. That is, we have the way things are done and how to do them but we have not yet touched the work. In this case, we begin by reviewing some information regarding a trend towards bipedalism based on an arbitrary scale. That is, we use diagnostic features we can see and judge for ourselves. Although some may believe arbitrary assessments to be vague or assumptive, this step is sometimes used by those who know about the subject. That is we have spent many weeks getting to the point where you are trained observers. That is what you see matters and you will now “show what you can do with what you know.” This quick step is used to give immediate feedback to guide the path of inquiry. For example, an arbitrary scale can give values which can be interpreted as useful or not. The values can also be added to a graph which may show connections, divergence, and trends. Although the arbitrary assessments may be cursory they can be used to help make predictions. The predictions can aid in a direction of inquiry such as future experimental design to pursue a lead or quickly and simply rule out an assumption. An assumption in science can be either a premise for an idea based on experience, or a prediction based on prior data. That is, the premise from an informed previous statement can lead to inquiry. Informed statements come from experience or existing data. Therefore, an assumption in science is very different from how assumptions are used in daily activities by many non-scientists. Here we may assume that the diagnostics features listed in the drawing plantigrade, digitigrade, unguligrade highlight things of interest in relation to patterns of locomotion, in this case distinctions of speed and power compared to bipedalism. Grade scale x/30 x 20 = score 12.1. Bipedalis.Start with an ABC about each foot grade. Now that we have gone past the basics and the surprise that other animals have very similar skeletal structures it is time to review the basics of locomotion. Later, other forms of locomotion will be investigated in depth, but, for now it is wise to stay with what is familiar and the basic three. On the drawing for anthbiolab.mckendricksj.footgrades.plantigrade.digitigrade.unguligrade above, observe the normal standing postures and note the following for each species A, B,and C: (3 points) On the drawing above note the angle of the hip to the femur by the scribed line(s) down to the caudal line (a line towards the tail) of the hip in connection to the femoral line (of the femur). Estimate the angles of hip to femur by selecting the answer(s) which fits (delete the wrong answers) for each species: Species A what is angle 1 = Near to 180 deg Near to 115 deg. Near to 95 deg.
