Understanding the objectives of a learning strategy is essential for any student. It allows him to have a better comprehension, appreciation, and retention of the subject matter by focusing on the target learning of the course. Accordingly, the Doctoral Education for Advanced Nursing Practice provides eight essentials for each student to develop, beneficial in their academic journey and practice. In line with this, this paper will focus on the author’s topic entitled “The role of Providers on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention,” using the essentials outlined for AACN. The author believes in knowing how to narrow down one’s topic and apply it to real-world problems in healthcare.

The Essentials of AACN and Applications to the Project

The Scientific Underpinnings of Practice
The scientific underpinnings of practice provide the importance and goal of translating one’s theoretical and practical knowledge into studies that could improve the quality of care. This essential necessitates the use of science-based procedures for study and the capacity to create new knowledge that would provide a holistic improvement to the quality of care.
In line with this, the author’s study aims to provide a scientific and holistic approach to design preventive and proactive care mechanisms appropriate for different sectors of society (American Association of Colleges of Nursing, 2006). Through the use of a Hybrid model of Holistic care, the author would aim to integrate various scientific underpinnings to the provision of “comprehensive care” to improve health and well-being in the community (Jasemi, Alizadeh, Zamanzadeh, & Keogh, 2017).

Organizational and Systems Leadership
The essential for organizational and systems leadership promote the importance of creating established and repeatable standards that can be used within healthcare organizations or for policy-making purposes. This essential is broader than the provision of care since it also includes the responsibility to improve administrative, financial, and other external circumstances within a healthcare organization.
Accordingly, the author’s study aims to integrate and design methods for preventive care through collaborative efforts between health providers and the community. This is in line with the Hybrid Model of Holistic Care that considers the critical role of other stakeholders in the community such as the individual, individual’s (immediate and distant) peers, and family, among others. This multi-lateral approach can be better achieved through the creation of an efficient and systematic organization where each stakeholder can contribute to the improvement of personal health and well-being. In turn, this could be used for policy-making purposes in other healthcare organizations and their surrounding communities in the future (American Association of Colleges of Nursing, 2006).

Clinical Scholarship and Analytical Methods for Evidence-based Practice
This essentially refers to the importance of sourcing and integrating previously-made studies on various subjects and circumstances and applying them in his clinical workplace through Evidence-based practice (EBP). Since various studies have different populations, circumstances, and methods of analysis, among others, the AACN’s goal is to determine how to reconcile these differences between them and utilize them in EBPs that could test its effectiveness.
Accordingly, the author’s study would use recent studies that are highly relevant to preventive care. This includes using peer-reviewed studies in topics like primary preventive care, holistic model of care, and preventive medicine, among others. Since Evidence-based practice could provide one of the best avenues for testing theoretical paradigms in a real-world setting, the author would also focus on the use of EBPs that focus on the effects of various organizational and therapeutic approaches in the provision of health-related knowledge for other stakeholders (American Association of Colleges of Nursing, 2006).

You are to create a thoughtful and reflective essay that includes a minimum of four paragraphs (a paragraph must contain a minimum of three sentences, even though APA states two sentences) that addresses the expectations as listed below. This reflective essay may be written in first person because this is your personal reflection. The reflection must be based on the signature assignment, which was two Problem Based Learning (PBL) clinical patient cases. This assignment is graded on how well you address the expectations of the reflection, please make sure you address each of the expectations as listed below! Expectations of reflection: 1. Introductory paragraph that describes: -the signature assignment of the Problem Based Learning clinical case study. -How does what you learned through completing this signature assignment connect to the learning outcomes in this course? (you must write about how they connect to at least 2 of the 3 course CLOs) CLOS Assess the various techniques of periodontal therapy. Analyze a problem based case to meet the comprehensive needs of a patient. Justify the need for surgical periodontal treatment referrals. Completing these two pbls helped me understand the topics of implants and orthodontics. We were given two patients and from the case study our prpofessor gave us a particular topic that we had to address and become professional in. – Describe the gains over the term you have made in achieving the CLOs. The gains I have made is that I am better to understand the involvement of perio and how it affects orthodontics and implants. With orthodontics I learned that it cannot be placed if it the patient has osseous crater, furcation’s, and three-wall defects. With implants I learned that there are so many times and each one is used for specific reasons. 2.A paragraph (or more) that includes: What challenges did you encounter in completing this assignment? -The challenges I encountered was findings new research in the recent 2 year about my topic. Most of the researches were from years ago. How did you solve these challenges? -I solved these challenges by getting extra help from our school librarian. What were the successes you had in completing this assignment? The success was that I was easly about to find information nabout my topic and it was pretty easy to go into detail about them. 3. A paragraph (or more) that discusses your learning throughout this term: Describe the learning process throughout the course, what it felt like as you progressed and mastered certain skills (developing key facts, hypothesis, learning needs and applying these to effective poster board presentations). Through out this term it was difficult retaning all the information of periodontology. There is a lot of key facts that need to be memories in order to figure out what status the patient is. In order to be able to see if a patient is periodontally involved you need to go and check many things. What skills have you obtained from the PBL process and how will you apply those skills to private practice? -The skill I have obtained is that now I can easily research a topic and learn about it in detail. It can help me in private practice because I know now what periodontally involved patients need or how to diagnose if they are periodontally involved. Discuss the skills you are still developing related to the PBL process and your plans to continue your learning to ensure you remain knowledgeable and competent in the future. -These skills that I have obtained will help me when I graduate and become a RDH. I can take this to private practice where I will need to explain all these information to the dentist when with a patient. 4.A paragraph (or more) that discusses a connection between what you studied in this course and what you learned in previous courses. -What I have learned in this course plays the most important role in my clinic class. I. need to know these information when seeing a patient in order to successful create a correct dental hygiene care plan. Specifically describe how what you learned in other classes enhance what you learned in this class. -Last term in the periodontology class I was in it helped me learn the basis information for this applied periodontology. Reflect on what you thought about the CLO’s at the beginning of the class and how you think about them now. Please look at the clos I provided above and make something up. What has changed in your assumptions and understanding? Please write something

It’s a concert report and here is the requirement: “The objective of this paper is to connect what you hear during the concert to the content of the course and your own personal/cultural experiences, and to also attempt to express in words your general reaction to the music. You may describe how the music “made you feel,” but always follow up that statement with why you believe the music made you feel that way. In a similar vein, stay away from subjective comments concerning whether you liked or disliked the music, and instead use the information we’ve discussed during the course to make informed statement about the music itself. You are also encouraged to take notes during the performances if possible (only with pen and paper, absolutely not with a laptop) and, more importantly, research the pieces being performed before you attend the concert. You can then ask yourself, among other questions, are the pieces being performed indicative of the time period in which they were composed? A piece composed in the 1700’s probably won’t have the same aural properties as a piece composed in 2018. Why is that? The most important thing to do during a concert is to ask the question: why? If the chorus of a song gets you really excited, or if the slow movement of a sonata “sounds” morose, try to identify what it is about the collection of sounds that works or doesn’t work using the information we’ve learned in class. Sometimes you may be able to identify the exact reasons a passage has certain aural properties, but sometimes you won’t, in which case you should either try to make an educated guess as to what the music is “doing,” or try to make an educated guess on why you perceive the piece a certain way.” Try to use some music vocabulary in this report, like “dynamic”, “Tempo”, “Major key or minor key”

Please use sources for each set of questions. 1. “Interviewing and Interrogating” Please respond to the following: • Determine the fundamental difference between interrogating and interviewing under the circumstance of criminal investigation. Provide one (1) example of a situation or scenario when each of these would be used. • Support or critique the argument that a police officer should use an Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) and / or taser before the utilization of deadly force when making arrests. Provide a rationale to support your response. 2. “Suicide and Elder Abuse” Please respond to the following: The Center for Disease Control (CDC) identified suicide as a common death investigation within the United States. In some instances, family members attempt to hide the fact that the person took their own life. Analyze the main reasons why persons would attempt to conceal such an event which could possibly lead them into receiving criminal charges themselves. Recommend at least one (1) action that the law enforcement could take in order to investigate such a suicide crime. The National Center on Elder Abuse indicates that seniors are the fastest-growing population in the United States. It is apparent that as this populace becomes more physically frail, they are seemingly a greater target for the unscrupulous to take advantage. Discuss the main reasons why abuse of seniors is recognized yet usually goes unreported. Next, suggest one (1) action that citizens or family members could take to reduce elder abuse. Provide a rationale to support your response. 3. “Sexual Assault Evidence and Forms of Abuse among Children” Please respond to the following: It is common knowledge that rape and sexual assault investigations provide evidence such as stained or torn clothing, scratches, bruises and cuts used to solve the crime. Determine at least three (3) other forms of evidence associated with a rape or sexual assault. Next, recommend at least one (1) action that the law enforcement could take in order to investigate such a crime. The textbook cites that the four (4) most common types of abuse among children are neglect, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and sexual abuse. Select one (1) out of the four (4) types of abuse among children. Next, determine the key challenges that the investigator may confront while investigating the abuse you selected. Suggest one (1) strategy geared toward mitigating the challenges you determined. Provide a rationale to support your response.

It is essential that you learn to paraphrase or summarize. You will be expected to use MLA in-text citations and Works Cited at the end of each assignment for the primary source article and any other articles or websites you used to develop your response. Italicize works of art, just as you would like books and film. Assignment Instructions: Select one of the four (4) works of art from the previous Analysis (Case Study) Resources page to focus on to conduct your first visual analysis. Provide a thoughtful and well developed visual analysis based on the techniques practiced leading up to this assignment. The final product should be a 2-page paper. Your initial reading is a close examination of the work you’ve chosen before you read about it. In order to describe what you see, you might consider: What do you notice first? Why? What do the colors convey? How? How is the space occupied? Is there a foreground and a background (2D) or is the piece sculptural (3D) with mass and volume? Is there an implied shape, such as a triangle, square, or circle, that brings balance to the composition? Are there diagonal lines that make it dynamic? Next, read the materials provided about the work of art. You are welcome to do additional research on the internet as long as you use reputable websites, such as those from museums and art publications. Go back to your piece and take an even closer look. Think about what you’ve read and what you see. How does its meaning deepen from additional information the work of art? Then, consider how the formal elements play into the artist’s intention or audience’s interpretation of the work. Making connections and observations about form and content are the key to writing a strong analysis. Remember to cite as appropriate. Refer to your Plagiarism Quiz as a refresher. Include several of areas from the first and second points to bring you to the third point. 1. Initial Reading (what do you see and understand when you first look at the work?) -Medium (materials) -Formal Elements -Subject 2. Contextual Research -Content -History -Emphasis -Effect -Symbolism -Relevance -Political Parallels -Social Implications -Audience? -Influences? -Captions/Title/Text -Ethical/Logical/Emotional Appeal? 3. That is, it is one thing to answer a test, another thing to live the experience. It is often very difficult to comprehend the parts of science. This is especially true when urban centers provide all things for individuals. However, individuals even in groups that are provided learn a group function. That is, they acquire a process to accomplish things. The process is trial and error which is the basis of science. Therein, ● An argument can be made that in everyday life there is science. For example, a person may need to go from one place to another. ● They have to start with a basic idea of what is the best path. This idea is the hypothesis. Not necessarily true but something testable. ● They must then travel and collect information about the journey. The information if charted is data. The data can be used to make predictions about continuing the path daily or how a different path may be better. Ultimately-overtime by trial and error several paths are chosen, each one will have its own advantages, and there will now be choices; not one answer. ________________________________________ Therefore in a LAB course there may be more than one acceptable answer for a question but….that is based on the answers which must match the data presented. Meaning, it is not speculation. The path is decided by experience. A: The initial idea of; there is a path which will get to where I am going is a testable question. All science is based on this one criteria of being testable. B: Second, the path must be able to be taken by others in the future. Science must be repeatable. Therefore, if something is testable and repeatable then it is the realm of science. ________________________________________ Many things we encounter or rely on daily are science in principle and many are applied science. ● A science principle is some idea which is science based and possible. ● Applied science is the idea in action. ● The first is a hypothesis the second is the test/experiment The method of experiential ideas, and data collection is what science essentially is. Therefore, many have been doing science for sometime. However, some will forget the basics and use speculation as science when they are missing the data. Simply, no evidence or data equals no science. It is a simple yet important distinction. ________________________________________ Name:Class number and time: Prof: Date: anthbio.LAB- 3.0. mckendricksj.
