The pandemic plunged the US economy into a sudden economic recession in February. Congress responded with one round of stimulus checks for citizens and are discussing a second. Are providing citizens a stimulus check fiscal or monetary policy, Keynesianism or supply-side economics? Define these 4 terms. Then, assume the role of economic advisor to Congress and the president. Should they use fiscal or monetary policy or both to bring the US economy out of the sudden recession? Keynesianism or supply-side economics? Use history and past economic policy to justify your argument. What are the consequences of your approach for the US, which currently has over a $26 trillion dollar deficit?
President Nixon famously claimed implementation is policy, which highlights the potential power of the bureaucracy. What are the 3 powers or functions of the bureaucracy in policy implementation? Explain each power and how it works? Use the example of OSHA (the Occupational Safety and Health Agency) and illustrate how each power can come into play in their enforcement of a safe work environment. Finally, if the powers of the bureaucracy needs to be reined in, explain how Congress, the presidency, and/or the judiciary can check the bureaucracy. Back your checks with examples from history and/or current practice.

The use of stimulus checks to bolster the economy is a common practice in the field of economics. It helps to improve the capacity of the people for spending and encourage the continuous flow of the economy for the benefit of the state. Accordingly, stimulus checks are a good example of a nation’s fiscal policy. This is because stimulus checks are a part of the policies designed to influence the economic conditions of the country with the help of additional funds that consumers can use for their own. In contrast, monetary policy is one that is usually initiated by a nation’s central bank to promote economic goals in line with the nation’s economic goals. Thus, stimulus checks fall under fiscal policies, since these affect the spending policies of the state.
Accordingly, the use of stimulus checks could also be viewed in line with the idea of Keynesian and supply-side economics. Since stimulus checks encourage a change (or growth) in terms of both demand and output with the help of additional funding, this can be viewed as a good example of the application of Keynesian economics. Comparably, supply-side economics focuses on the use of tax reduction or cuts to stimulate growth by increasing supply. Thus, the reason why stimulus checks fall under the Keynesian view is that it increases demand with the help of the additional funding.

Instructions: Project Management Individual Project Management Plan
Team Project – Individual Project Management Plan
Please read the Team project “Project Charter Uber Tour” doc in the attachment first,
Then write the individual project management plan—- focus on the Project Risk Management only
1. Introduction
2. Goals
3. Objectives
4. Roles and Responsibilities
5. Deliverables
6. For each planning process associated with the knowledge area covered by your plan (as described in class and PMBOK), describe how the process will be handled for the project. You should also list and describe the inputs, tools and techniques and outputs of the process.
In PMBOK:[planning process]
-Plan Risk Management
-Identify Risks
-Perform Qualitative Risk Analysis
-Perform Quantitative Risk Analysis
– Plan Risk Responses
-Implement Risk Responses
-Monitoring and Controlling Process Group
-Monitor Risks
Your plan should be written in a narrative format, providing ample description within each section. It is not sufficient to simply provide a series of bulleted lists of materials! There is no length constraint, but plans do not have to be long!
You have to keep in mind also that your plan is not intended to summarize the results of analysis and responses. It is supposed to describe how the communications management processes would be executed and who would do that work. Think of your plan as providing instructions to the project team as to how to do the necessary work in this area.
Do your own work and make sure you answer all the questions.
It will submit on the Turnitin.
Submission will be sent to Turnitin to be electronically reviewed for plagiarism. 1 page / approx 275 words | APA | English (US) 🇺🇸 | Essay | Management | Undergraduate |
Instructions: 500 word response to the following questions. The paper should be written in the first-person voice. Be sure to write in full, complete sentences. You will be graded for content and quality of writing. Reflect on what you have learned in this lesson about diversity and marginalization and link it to either your personal life, or your future profession (child psychologist).
Part 1: Your reaction
Describe what you remember most from the lesson (what stood out the most) and where you felt most challenged.
Part 2: Your decisions
Describe how what you learned in this lecture will inform your personal life and/or your future profession.
Lesson Material for your reference:
Section One: What is Diversity and How Does it Impact Us?
In the 1980s there was not one country that allowed same sex marriage. Most people where either ‘out’, and very political about being LGBT or, most, were in the ‘closet’. Same sex couples were not allowed to adopt children and most people thought of HIV/AIDS as the ‘gay disease’.
Diversity and Marginalization:
Thinking back to high school, your school might have had a poster with the word “Welcome” in many different languages. You are probably reminded of those days where you celebrated the diversity of your peers and you ate different ethnic foods and may have been introduced to traditional clothes and dances. That certainly is one side of diversity: the idea and belief that Canada is an accepting multicultural mosaic. However, that is only one side of the coin. In fact, there has been a long tradition of scholars and activists challenging the notion of diversity and multiculturalism. One such person is the York University scholar, Himani Bannerji. In her 2000 book, The Dark Side of the Nation: Essays on Multiculturalism, Nationalism and Gender, Bannerji identifies what she terms the ‘paradox of diversity’. Using the term/description “women of colour” as an example, she argues that the description creates a “vague and pleasant” description that replaces race with ‘colour’ and suggests alliance among women. Doesn’t “women of colour” sound much more pleasant than “gender and race”? By changing the way that something is described (recall multicultural / diversity attempts at your high school), Bannerji argues we erase the realities of race, racism, white privilege, and oppression. Her point is that using the terms such as ‘women of colour’ reflects ideologies of power relations by serving to regulate power. This other perspective on diversity suggests that human diversity is not about ‘getting along’ but that human diversity is part of historical and ideological oppression. On a sliding scale where diversity and multiculturalism are on the one end, and anti-oppression / anti-racism are on the other, it’s easy to imagine where Bannerji sits.
To better understand white privilege, please read Peggy McIntosh’s (1988) excerpt about unpacking privilege (2 pages). As you read, take note of your thoughts and feelings.
The reason why I wanted to include this discussion is because it is easy to think of human diversity as a vibrant celebration of colour, foods and diverse traditions rather than to dig a bit deeper and think about the systemic issues such as oppression and privilege that accompany human diversity.
At this point, you are probably not surprised to hear that diversity in the context of community psychology is not so much about the ‘beauty of difference and getting along’ but about recognizing that “human diversity has multiple intersecting dimensions” and is “an important part of understanding differences and similarities between individuals and communities, but also variation within communities” (Kloos et al., 2012, pp. 7-8).
According to Rappaport (1977), community psychology “is an attempt to support every person’s right to be different without risk of suffering material and psychological sanctions” (p. 1). This will often require the community psychologist to work toward providing socially marginal people with the resources, the power, and the control over their own lives, which is necessary for a society of diversity rather than conformity” (p. 23).
Section Two: Power and Oppression
Recall Himani Bannerji’s argument that ideologies of diversity and multiculturalism serve to strengthen existing power relations such as racism, oppression of others and white privilege. What do we mean when we refer to power and oppression? According to Kloos and colleagues (2012), “oppression occurs in a hierarchical relationship in which a dominant group unjustly holds power and resources and withholds them from another group” (p. 231).
The Social Construction of Power:
To make those concepts livelier, I’d like you to watch a very interesting video on the social construction of oppression. In this video, you will watch a third grade teacher simulate the social construction of discrimination by introducing a two-day exercise to her class where students were intentionally discriminated against based on the colour of their eyes.
Oppression and Colonization:
As you have seen in this lesson, there are many forms of oppression. It can be overt (obvious and intentional) and it can also be covert (unintentionally discriminating against an individual or group of individuals based on pre-conceived assumptions that we have—biases that often come from “single stories”).
Another important concept to learn is “intersectionality”. Intersectionality refers to the interconnections between multiple socially constructed categorizations (e.g., race, gender, social class). Oppression of an individual or group with multiple intersecting personal identities becomes driven by multiple intersecting systems of discrimination and marginalization (Kloos et al., 2012). For example, examining the social mechanisms that drive violence against lesbian women of colour must consider the overlapping, complex nature of the various systems of oppression—rather than examining each factor separately.
Oppression can also be systemic. For example, the colonization of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit individuals, families, and communities is a form of oppression that has persisted throughout the history of Canada and continues to exist today.
So far in this course, you have learned a bit about some of the inequalities and discrimination faced by Aboriginal people in Canada. Now that you have also been introduced to different ways of understanding and honouring diversity, I would like for you to read a brief chapter (14 pages) written by a Mohawk woman , Patricia Monture-Angus, who worked as a legal scholar in several Canadian law schools.
This chapter is a story of her experience as “a woman, an Indian, and an Indian woman” (note: intersectionality) attending an academic conference about oppression. She challenges language around “disadvantage” and speaks about her experiences as a “minority”. She teaches important lessons about diversity and oppression that I think is a good way to wrap up this lesson. 1 page / approx 275 words | APA | English (US) 🇺🇸 | Essay | Social Sciences | Undergraduate |

This class strives to provide you with papers/projects that relate to real-world expectations. You will first choose a product or service (not both) and one country. This plan is specifically written for one product or service and one country – no comparison or contrasting!
After you have read the guidelines, write a few paragraphs which summarize your final project idea.
Submit this by the normal time on Monday but earlier would be better!
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding a product/service and/or a country of choice.
Take Note:
for this assignment, you need to select a topic and country selection. This is for a new market entry, for a product or service, that does not yet exist in that market. This is not research of an existing product.
iPhone already exists in the US and globally(WRONG).
The country selection should be a country you are not familiar.
Also, the product/service you select should ultimately meet the needs of the consumers in that market.
If you would like to select the iPhone 12 PRO, I need you to select and profile a country where it does not yet exist. 2 pages / approx 550 words | APA | Business & Marketing | Coursework | English (US) 🇺🇸 | Undergraduate |

Instructions: Urinalysis
This is a Hands-On Labs exercise that explores the characteristics of urine and what can cause those characteristics to change. You will be doing a visual inspection of urine and testing it with urinalysis test strips to assess the concentration of various compounds that may be present.
Procedure
Follow the directions for the Urinalysis experiment. Perform both parts: fasting and drinking distilled water. Record the data from the visual inspection and from the test strips in tables. Use that data to write a report, following the directions below for submission. **You do not need to submit the Lab Report Assistant**.
Create a Report
Use the following outline to describe the data from your lab in a report. Label each portion of the lab as described below.
Introduction: Start with a broad discussion of urine formation, and then narrow your focus to the question(s) that you are trying to answer. Conclude the introduction with a hypothesis—a statement that reflects what you believe the outcome of this lab will be. It’s a good idea to include a discussion of how you think each characteristic of urine tested will change between the fasting and distilled water consumption parts.
Material List: Identify all items that you used and the exact quantities, as applicable. This may be a very short section.
Methods: Describe how you conducted the experiment, including any safety precautions you took while performing the lab. Be sure to include any changes that you made to the original instructions. Did you use different exercises? This should be a short, paraphrased version of the methods from the lab. Do not copy from the lab; Turnitin will highlight it as plagiarism.
Results/Data: Create a table or a figure that reflects/compares the results of your experiment.
Discussion: Review your results and determine if your experiment supports or refutes your hypothesis. Explain why. Then expand your discussion to address why and how your body creates the changes you observed as you increased the level of hydration. What effect does fasting have on the results? Be specific and give details.
Conclusion: End with a section describing something that really intrigued you; identify errors that may have impacted your results, or note errors in the lab itself; and provide recommendations for future labs.
Requirements:
If you are doing the report, it should be 4-5 pages long, not including the title page.
Reference at least two journal articles.
Include a title page and references at the end.

Instructions: We need to research and write about a biological influence and psychological/social influence on a chosen facet of sexuality. I have attached a topics list to pick from. I would prefer the topic “pair bonding” but it is largely up the the writer based on the sources they find. We need to find four primary sources to cite to support our claims, two primary sources to support the biological influence on our facet of sexuality and two primary sources to support the the psychological/social influence. I’ve also attached assignment instructions and the rubric, and an APA guide.
PSYCH 204 HUMAN SEXUALITY Research Assignment
Instructions
Select one facet of human sexuality (e.g., sexual orientation, gender identity, attraction) and discuss BOTH of the following: • A biological influence on your chosen topic • A psychological or social influence on your chosen topic
The purpose of this assignment is to help you develop insight into the biological, social, and psychological perspectives that inform issues of human sexuality. As we have seen, many topics in this course are multifaceted and have multiple influencing factors. Examples of topics and hints about what would make an appropriate topic are posted to D2L.
The assignment is worth 16% of your final grade. Without approved documentation, late assignments will be penalized 10% per day, including weekends. Documentation must be submitted before the deadline to be considered.
Citations
You will need to cite two primary sources for the biological influence and two primary sources for the psychological/social influence, for a total of four primary sources. A primary source includes a book or a peer-reviewed journal article. Using a magazine (such as Scientific American) is not a proper peer-reviewed source and will not get you full marks. Do not use Wikipedia for your references, as Wikipedia is open to edit by anyone and is not peer-reviewed.
Remember that you MUST cite every idea that you write about that is not your own. Even if you just cited the same source in the sentence before. When in doubt, include a citation.
It is better to paraphrase an idea than to directly quote it – use direct quotes sparingly and only when they are really necessary for impact. Remember though that when you paraphrase it is still an idea from another source and it must be cited.
Format
The total assignment will be a maximum of four pages, not including your cover page and reference (i.e., up to six pages altogether including the cover page and reference page). Use Times New Roman, 12 pt font, double spaced. Use 1” margins on the page.
You must follow proper APA formatting to get full marks (details about APA formatting are posted to D2L) 4 pages / approx 1100 words | APA | Psychology | Research Paper | Undergraduate |
