Baptism and the Christian Life
The process of baptism has always been one of the most critical processes in the life of a Christian. It symbolizes rebirth and devotion towards the life of Christ, leading us to the promise of eternal life (Rast Jr.). In the old testament, the apostle Peter has noted the importance of such sacrament by saying that the “water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 3:21, New International Version). Despite this, many Christians still fail to recognize the utmost importance of baptism.
On the one hand, some believe that good deeds and following the steps of Christ are enough to be saved and enjoy the everlasting life. On the other hand, some people think that the process of baptism (especially water baptism) is an antiquated one (CRCNA.org). In this article, both of these beliefs would be analyzed based on biblical and theological references. This is to answer the main question, “What is the importance of baptism for the life of a Christian?”. Consequently, answering this would require addressing different confusion about the sacrament of baptism, such as; (1) is baptism (water baptism) essential for our salvation, (2) is being baptized enough, and (3) is baptism for children is essential. In line with these, the succeeding sections would determine the importance of baptism in the teachings of Jesus Christ. This analysis would be coupled with readings from scholars who have studied the words of the holy spirit. Nevertheless, I believe that baptism is crucial in living the life of Christ. Without this kind of acceptance, words, thoughts, and deeds would fall short of living up to him.
Biblical Significance of Baptism
As stated earlier, the process of baptism extends its history even before the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a sacrament mandated by God himself, his predecessors have followed that.
In the Bible, John the Baptist has carefully stated that baptism could be divided into two categories, baptism by water and by the holy spirit. As John, the Baptist said, “I baptize you with water. However, one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” (Luke 3:16, New International Version). It is clear from his words that while he baptizes God’s followers with water, God himself would come down and baptize these people with the Holy Spirit. However, this also raises the question, is being baptized in water a prerequisite to being baptized by the Holy Spirit? Let us explore this topic in the next section.

Instructions: Option #1: Differences in Hearts
Each person has a unique set of circumstances that lead to a unique heart, but there are some trends where we see consistent similarities. For example, how does a runner’s heart perform differently from that of the average non-runner? How do infant’s hearts work differently from adult hearts? Is there a difference in male and female hearts? Pick any two groups of people that interest you (they do not have to be one of the groups just mentioned) to compare for this assignment.
Address the following points in your paper:
1) Describe the function of the heart.
2) Trace the flow of blood through the heart to the rest of the body.
3) Describe what a healthy heart sounds like; what a healthy heart rate is; and what a healthy blood pressure is.
4) Compare and contrast heart sounds, heart rate, and blood pressure in the two groups of focus for your paper.
5) Are the sounds, heart rate, and blood pressure in these groups of people healthy, or is there a problem? Explain.
6) What was most interesting about comparing these two groups?

Instructions: The next step in the process of acquiring information is to move past what we can think of onto what we can see. That is, we have the way things are done and how to do them but we have not yet touched the work. In this case, we begin by reviewing some information regarding a trend towards bipedalism based on an arbitrary scale. That is, we use diagnostic features we can see and judge for ourselves.
Although some may believe arbitrary assessments to be vague or assumptive, this step is sometimes used by those who know about the subject. That is we have spent many weeks getting to the point where you are trained observers. That is what you see matters and you will now “show what you can do with what you know.” This quick step is used to give immediate feedback to guide the path of inquiry. For example, an arbitrary scale can give values which can be interpreted as useful or not.
The values can also be added to a graph which may show connections, divergence, and trends. Although the arbitrary assessments may be cursory they can be used to help make predictions. The predictions can aid in a direction of inquiry such as future experimental design to pursue a lead or quickly and simply rule out an assumption.
An assumption in science can be either a premise for an idea based on experience, or a prediction based on prior data. That is, the premise from an informed previous statement can lead to inquiry. Informed statements come from experience or existing data. Therefore, an assumption in science is very different from how assumptions are used in daily activities by many non-scientists.
Here we may assume that the diagnostics features listed in the drawing plantigrade, digitigrade, unguligrade highlight things of interest in relation to patterns of locomotion, in this case distinctions of speed and power compared to bipedalism.

12.1. Bipedalis.Start with an ABC about each foot grade.
Now that we have gone past the basics and the surprise that other animals have very similar skeletal structures it is time to review the basics of locomotion. Later, other forms of locomotion will be investigated in depth, but, for now it is wise to stay with what is familiar and the basic three.
On the drawing for anthbiolab.mckendricksj.footgrades.plantigrade.digitigrade.unguligrade above, observe the normal standing postures and note the following for each species A, B,and C:

To be effective, a target market needs to be identifiable (you must know who and where they are in detail), persuadable (you have to convince them to part with their hard-earned money for your product or service), able to pay (goes without saying), and substantial, that is, big enough so that they produce enough sales to meet your top line projections. The relevant chapter to guide you is Chapter 7. In part one of the assignment you need to consider each of the following topics, and then address those that apply to your target. Instructions: Urinalysis
This is a Hands-On Labs exercise that explores the characteristics of urine and what can cause those characteristics to change. You will be doing a visual inspection of urine and testing it with urinalysis test strips to assess the concentration of various compounds that may be present.
Procedure
Follow the directions for the Urinalysis experiment. Perform both parts: fasting and drinking distilled water. Record the data from the visual inspection and from the test strips in tables. Use that data to write a report, following the directions below for submission. **You do not need to submit the Lab Report Assistant**.
Create a Report
Use the following outline to describe the data from your lab in a report. Label each portion of the lab as described below.
Introduction: Start with a broad discussion of urine formation, and then narrow your focus to the question(s) that you are trying to answer. Conclude the introduction with a hypothesis—a statement that reflects what you believe the outcome of this lab will be. It’s a good idea to include a discussion of how you think each characteristic of urine tested will change between the fasting and distilled water consumption parts.
Material List: Identify all items that you used and the exact quantities, as applicable. This may be a very short section.
Methods: Describe how you conducted the experiment, including any safety precautions you took while performing the lab. Be sure to include any changes that you made to the original instructions. Did you use different exercises? This should be a short, paraphrased version of the methods from the lab. Do not copy from the lab; Turnitin will highlight it as plagiarism.
Results/Data: Create a table or a figure that reflects/compares the results of your experiment.
Discussion: Review your results and determine if your experiment supports or refutes your hypothesis. Explain why. Then expand your discussion to address why and how your body creates the changes you observed as you increased the level of hydration. What effect does fasting have on the results? Be specific and give details.
Conclusion: End with a section describing something that really intrigued you; identify errors that may have impacted your results, or note errors in the lab itself; and provide recommendations for future labs.
Requirements:
If you are doing the report, it should be 4-5 pages long, not including the title page.
Reference at least two journal articles.
Include a title page and references at the end.
