Change Proposal – Use of Patient Flow Congestion Sysem
Your Name

December 18, 2019

The healthcare system is perhaps one of the most fluid and changing industries in the whole society. Every month, changes in methods, technologies, and processes could occur depending on the results of researches that show the potential of a new practice or technology. Additionally, this need for change is furthered by the increasing demands of both patients and other state actors for constant improvement in the system.
One of the recent advancements in the healthcare system is the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in order to allocate resources effectively within the healthcare environment. This technology, also known as Patient Flow Congestion (PFC), allows the management within a healthcare organization to predict the influx of patients for days in advance, which contributes to a safer environment for the patients and a more efficient allocation of hospital resources (Park, Ko, Bae, Chang, & Kim, 2019).
In line with this, the author would propose the adoption of a PFC system, powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), in a Tertiary Care Hospital. A Tertiary Care organization is chosen since the Return-On-Investments of an AI system would be more apparent for large hospitals than smaller ones. Thus, the succeeding sections include an assessment of the relative advantages and costs of adopting such a system, as well as practices that would help in the efficient implementation of the said practice. All in all, the author believes that the PFC system would decrease patient congestions and improve environmental safety for patients especially during rush hours.

Patient Flow Congestion

In order to achieve its purpose, the PFC system uses statistical data gathered within the hospital and (possibly) from outside organizations. This would allow its AI core to develop predictive models that would allocate manpower resources over the whole place. Thus, the system could already determine where hospital staff should be stationed as well and the number of resources that would be needed in different departments. In relation to the environmental safety of patients, it could be seen that the efficient distribution of workflow among the different departments (and perhaps to other hospitals) would reduce the risks of malpractices, delayed provision of care, and would allow a better ‘staff-to-patient ratio’, which would give the staff the capability to focus on the individual needs of the patients themselves (Garnier, Chavez-Demoulin, Hameri, Niemi, & Wasserfallen, 2016).

I need a 1 page personal statement for a digital media design course i plan to undertake in University (Masters Degree). Basically, this personal statement is more like an admission essay, max 500 words. I have previously completed Bachelor degree Information Technology and a Postgraduate course in Computer Science. The reason i wanted to do this (digital media design) course is I am currently working in a bank, as a project manager. There are a lot of projects that require special skills (i have the concept but applying the concept in the content will require specific skills) that I can acquire from this course, e.g. programming languages, animations, design and web application etc). Also, i failed to achieve the computer skills that i wanted to acquire (my ex-university only teach simple programming language, e.g. mainly in Java, but nothing else) in my previous University. Just 1 programming language is not sufficient to help me in my current company. This is why i wanted to acquire more computing skills this time. This is roughly want i wanted to express in the personal statement essay, you can transform it as much as you want as long as the essay can be written interestingly. I will set 10 days dateline but if you can complete it earlier, it will be better but no hurry. Thank you so much!

Classification using cladograms worksheet (10 pts)You will turn in this worksheet. ________________________________________This section is designed as an easy points getter : )The path the course is now taking is to identify traits/characteristics and to think about how those traits have affected the species in question. For example, we have reviewed a bit about the changes in the skeletons of humans and other species. In those things we have noted skeletons have changed in a sequence overtime in that;● Human types have special adaptations which allow and require a two legged walk, aka facultative bipedalism.● There are isolation forces, geographic isolation, which can produce changes in animal types based on the ecosystem. For example,Foster’s Rule.● That variation of species is measurable as noted by Darwin’s Finches. Here in this section, there is a short lesson which gets the student acquainted with the process of biological classification. This is a small and simple lesson to give the idea of distinct traits, and mosaic species. This process can start with some basic assumptions, scientific ones, that things potentially get more complex as they change. It is important to note that a species can become simpler to survive but it also noted that some things become more complex. That being said we will start with the assumption that; things potentially get more complex as they change. Simpler is then older and more complex is newer. Note in following species, Andersenii aquaticus, is about first, the identification of the simply described simplest form of the organism, noted by the membranes (borders) and nothing else distinctive (Table1, Key concept 1.) This lesson assesses Mendel’s first law of: segregation. That is that offspring inherit their traits from parents. Therefore, related species had to get their traits from ones that existed before. It assesses evolutionary theory in showing that organisms tend towards complexity but at time entropy happens and things leave the family line. It shows the theory of phylogenetics ( gene types) and shows the relation in arbitrary time on the cladogram.

This week’s reading is the famous (at least among entrepreneurial academics) theorem called PORTER’S 5 FORCES MODEL. Consider the 5 forces as described in the reading. Let’s go back to the example of general Mills that we discussed in class. Remember how they charted a course into a new sector of the food industry? If you were one of the founders of General Mills for example, how would you have assessed these 5 forces as you staked out your market niche? In your response, please describe your assessment of each of these 5 forces. On a scale of High/Medium/Low, rate each of these risks as viewed by the founding entrepreneurs. In other words, how would you rate these 5 forces is you were a Generall Mills owner? No need to go more than 1 page.

Discussion – Week 1 (preferred related to Psychiatric care since I work as a Psych Nurse) COLLAPSE Defining Quality As health care consumers, we all expect quality care and positive outcomes. It is important as professionals that we meet these demands of health care consumers. Consider the work of the major theorists you examined in this week’s Resources, and think about how these theories apply to your own experience as a health care customer and/or practitioner. By Day 3 Post your definition of quality, and apply it to the work of one major quality theorist (e.g., Donabedian, Juran, Deming, Triple Aim (IHI) – Berwick). Identify a practice problem that you have had some experience with as a customer or as a practitioner, and explain how eliminating wasteful practices could have improved the experience. Include how your definition of quality applies to that experience. Support your response with references from the professional nursing literature. Your posts need to be written at the capstone level (see checklist). Notes for Initial Post: A 3-paragraph (at least 350 words) response. Be sure to use evidence from the readings and include in-text citations. Utilize essay-level writing practice and skills, including the use of transitional material and organizational frames. Avoid quotes; paraphrase to incorporate evidence into your own writing. A reference list is required. Use the most current evidence (usually ≤ 5 years old). (Refer to AWE Checklist, Capstone) By Day 7 Read two or more of your colleagues’ postings from the Discussion question. Respond with a comment that asks for clarification, provides support for, or contributes additional information to two or more of your colleagues’ postings. Post a Discussion entry on three different days of the week. See the Discussion Rubric found in the Course Information area. Essay on Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen Has to be exactly 1500 wordsno fewer and not many more The topic of the Essay: The very first sentence of the book Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, though it seems to focus on men, raises the question: what about the women in the novel, the prospective wives of these men “in want of a wife”? If such a single man “must be in want of a wife,” what is a single woman in want of, when it comes to marriage? In light of this first sentence of Pride and Prejudice, discuss the situation, attitude, and actions of the following four women in the book, with regard to courtship and marriage: Elizabeth Bennet, Charlotte Lucas, Jane Bennet, and Lydia Bennet. Remember to talk about each of the four women in four different paragraphs, meaning one paragraph per woman. Consider the two meanings of the word “want,” the thinking of the women about marriage, and their situation with respect to social position and “fortune.” Concentrate on the most interesting cases, while considering secondary characters as they shed light on the main cases. In looking briefly at secondary characters, you might consider those men and women who are not engaged or married at novel’s end. Notice, then, the explicit mention of a “good fortune.” What about a man without a good fortune? Does the possession of a good fortune matter in the case of the women? And a further consideration: although the main focus of the novel would seem to be on courtship leading to marriage, you might briefly consider a couple of cases where a couple has already been married, briefly or for a longer time: Charlotte and Collins (the only couple we see in both courtship and marriage), the elder Lucas’s, the Bennet’s, the Gardiners. Make sure that your essay has a clear thesis and a title that indicates the focus of your discussion.

You are to create a thoughtful and reflective essay that includes a minimum of four paragraphs (a paragraph must contain a minimum of three sentences, even though APA states two sentences) that addresses the expectations as listed below. This reflective essay may be written in first person because this is your personal reflection. The reflection must be based on the signature assignment, which was two Problem Based Learning (PBL) clinical patient cases. This assignment is graded on how well you address the expectations of the reflection, please make sure you address each of the expectations as listed below! Expectations of reflection: 1. Introductory paragraph that describes: -the signature assignment of the Problem Based Learning clinical case study. -How does what you learned through completing this signature assignment connect to the learning outcomes in this course? (you must write about how they connect to at least 2 of the 3 course CLOs) CLOS Assess the various techniques of periodontal therapy. Analyze a problem based case to meet the comprehensive needs of a patient. Justify the need for surgical periodontal treatment referrals. Completing these two pbls helped me understand the topics of implants and orthodontics. We were given two patients and from the case study our prpofessor gave us a particular topic that we had to address and become professional in. – Describe the gains over the term you have made in achieving the CLOs. The gains I have made is that I am better to understand the involvement of perio and how it affects orthodontics and implants. With orthodontics I learned that it cannot be placed if it the patient has osseous crater, furcation’s, and three-wall defects. With implants I learned that there are so many times and each one is used for specific reasons. 2.A paragraph (or more) that includes: What challenges did you encounter in completing this assignment? -The challenges I encountered was findings new research in the recent 2 year about my topic. Most of the researches were from years ago. How did you solve these challenges? -I solved these challenges by getting extra help from our school librarian. What were the successes you had in completing this assignment? The success was that I was easly about to find information nabout my topic and it was pretty easy to go into detail about them. 3. A paragraph (or more) that discusses your learning throughout this term: Describe the learning process throughout the course, what it felt like as you progressed and mastered certain skills (developing key facts, hypothesis, learning needs and applying these to effective poster board presentations). Through out this term it was difficult retaning all the information of periodontology. There is a lot of key facts that need to be memories in order to figure out what status the patient is. In order to be able to see if a patient is periodontally involved you need to go and check many things. What skills have you obtained from the PBL process and how will you apply those skills to private practice? -The skill I have obtained is that now I can easily research a topic and learn about it in detail. It can help me in private practice because I know now what periodontally involved patients need or how to diagnose if they are periodontally involved. Discuss the skills you are still developing related to the PBL process and your plans to continue your learning to ensure you remain knowledgeable and competent in the future. -These skills that I have obtained will help me when I graduate and become a RDH. I can take this to private practice where I will need to explain all these information to the dentist when with a patient. 4.A paragraph (or more) that discusses a connection between what you studied in this course and what you learned in previous courses. -What I have learned in this course plays the most important role in my clinic class. I. need to know these information when seeing a patient in order to successful create a correct dental hygiene care plan. Specifically describe how what you learned in other classes enhance what you learned in this class. -Last term in the periodontology class I was in it helped me learn the basis information for this applied periodontology. Reflect on what you thought about the CLO’s at the beginning of the class and how you think about them now. Please look at the clos I provided above and make something up. What has changed in your assumptions and understanding? Please write something
