Our healthcare needs seem insufficient, thus requiring the healthcare industry to go beyond limits and improve their health care quality to fulfill their needs. This brings us to health care Quality Improvement, where better care for the patient is given. If this improvement satisfies the patients’ needs, it will lower the cost of a patient cost, enhance the outcome and experience, and enhance the health care provider’s needs. In this module, the author will further discuss the elements that fuel the continuous improvement of health care quality.

Continuous Improvement
The quest to find a better quality of service is required in the health industry. Those who do not improve their quality of service will be left behind. Elements of an excellent Continuous Improvement may vary on the person implementing it, thus making it unique.

One element of a successful implementation of improvement is through an organized process.
First, one should plan what improvement can be made to improve the quality of healthcare and investigate the hurdles they need to overcome before actually implementing the improvement being planned,

One is writing guideline and requirements. Another is my writing and the professor’s review. Please revise my writing according to guideline and review. Including but not limited to: adding words, adding new topic paragraph if need, using clear “personal experience”, better using sources, adding other sources, etc. About the original source. The latter two sources may not be extended, but must be retained. ENGLISH 1100 – COMPOSITION I WRITING PROJECT 3: WRITING WITH RESEARCH – TOPIC GUIDELINES Word count: 1,500 (about 6 pages) Grade Value: 25% Sources to be used for Writing Project #3: • Your own ideas and experiences from either your Writing Project 1 (Writing from Personal Experience) to illustrate your ideas. Topic and purpose for Writing Project #3: Topic: Looking back on the experiences you described about a community problem in Writing Project 1 (Writing from Personal Experience). In Writing Project #3, you will formulate a claim about the question and argue that claim based on personal experience and fact-based evidence. Purpose: In Writing Project #3, your question—and the answer to that question—will reflect your stance (a “claim”) on the issue you’re addressing in your essay. You will formulate and argue the claim using source material that provides fact-based evidence, and you will illustrate your claim about the issue by using your own personal experience. What Writing Project #3 is not: WP#3 is not an informative essay or a “how-to” essay. You will not address the reader directly or use source material that offers “advice” to the reader. Your essay must argue a claim about an issue. Process for Developing Writing Project #3: Develop and organize your WP3 first version: Using your outline as a template, develop your ideas to create a WP3 first version: • Create an introduction: Refer to your experience you told a story about in Writing Project #1 then transition into the broader issue that this experience raised. Ask your “main” question about the community problem and provide a thesis that states your claim in answer to the question. • Develop supporting paragraphs (from your supporting points in your outline): Introduce each supporting paragraph with a topic sentence about a specific aspect of your claim that you want to explore. After each topic sentence, present information (from your own experience and ideas and from source material, correctly cited) that expands on idea in the topic sentence. • Write a conclusion: Refer back to your experiences in Writing Project 1 and reflect on your own experience and what you learned from your research that can help your community. • Format a works cited listing to include citations for the outside sources, formatted in MLA style. • Follow guidelines for development of ideas and use and citation of source material. Wp3 first versions that do not meet the minimum word requirement (1,500 words) and do not correctly use and cite sources both in-text and in the Works Cited listing will have points deducted. Write your final version of Writing Project 3 (100 points): Based on the comments of your peer review partner(s) and the instructor as well as your own ideas for revision, you will decide if you want to revise to create a WP3 final version. WP3 final versions that do not have correctly cited sources both in-text and in the Works Cited listing will not receive a passing grade; once a final version is submitted, you will not have an opportunity to revise.

We experience things based on many factors, perception (a biological function) and means others see the world differently than we do. When we know that others do have the same experiences, do not see the same things, and have a different world view we can begin to acknowledge their differences as a result of their worldview and not always an absolute sense of knowing we are us and yet we alone are right. This is known as cultural relativism.

Essay on Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen Has to be exactly 1500 wordsno fewer and not many more The topic of the Essay: The very first sentence of the book Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, though it seems to focus on men, raises the question: what about the women in the novel, the prospective wives of these men “in want of a wife”? If such a single man “must be in want of a wife,” what is a single woman in want of, when it comes to marriage? In light of this first sentence of Pride and Prejudice, discuss the situation, attitude, and actions of the following four women in the book, with regard to courtship and marriage: Elizabeth Bennet, Charlotte Lucas, Jane Bennet, and Lydia Bennet. Remember to talk about each of the four women in four different paragraphs, meaning one paragraph per woman. Consider the two meanings of the word “want,” the thinking of the women about marriage, and their situation with respect to social position and “fortune.” Concentrate on the most interesting cases, while considering secondary characters as they shed light on the main cases. In looking briefly at secondary characters, you might consider those men and women who are not engaged or married at novel’s end. Notice, then, the explicit mention of a “good fortune.” What about a man without a good fortune? Does the possession of a good fortune matter in the case of the women? And a further consideration: although the main focus of the novel would seem to be on courtship leading to marriage, you might briefly consider a couple of cases where a couple has already been married, briefly or for a longer time: Charlotte and Collins (the only couple we see in both courtship and marriage), the elder Lucas’s, the Bennet’s, the Gardiners. Make sure that your essay has a clear thesis and a title that indicates the focus of your discussion.

In this assignment you will write an autobiographical essay about your own gender identity. Questions you should consider addressing include: ● What gender were you assigned at birth? Who decided? Based on what information did they make the decision? How did your parents feel about your sex/gender? What expectations did they have of you and your life based on what sex you were assigned at birth? One thing you could do is talk to (in person or over the phone) the people who were there when you were born and ask them about this. ● How do you think your life would have been different if you had been born a different sex/gender? ● What was your gender socialization like during early childhood? When is the first time you became aware of your gender or can remember thinking “I am a boy.” or “I am a girl.” Where were you? How did you find out you were a boy/girl? What did you think of it? ● What were the main gender milestones throughout your life? What were the defining moments of your gender? When you think of your own gender identity, what are the specific memories that you have and why are they meaningful to you? ● What are the things you feel like you have to/must do because of your gender identity? What are you required to do? What are you not allowed to do? What parts of your gender identity do you like? What parts do you dislike and why? Are there things you wish you could do that you can’t/don’t do because of your gender? ● Are there ways that you are gender-nonconforming? How? Why? ● In what ways is your gender stereotypical? How? Why? ● How are you treated because of your gender? What are aspects of this treatment do you like/dislike? ● What choices do you make about your gender? How do you do your gender? What kind of man or woman (or other) are you? What kind of man/woman/other do you want to or try to be? What aspects of your gender are important to you? ● What roles do you play in your life because of what your gender is? ● Whose gender do you admire (this could be someone you know in your life or a famous person or a character — whatever) — why do you admire it? ● How is your gender influenced by other aspects of your identity (e.g. your race, sexuality, age, culture, religion, ethnicity, etc)? Formatting guidelines: 5-10 double-spaced pages 12 pt font, not bold, not italicized, Times New Roman or Arial or Calibri or Garamond. Use headings that break your paper into sections. You have a lot of freedom in how you organize it. You should decide which of the above questions are most interesting to you, what stories you want to tell, in what order, etc. I’d say just start writing and see what happens. After you draft it, read what you have written and then write an introduction telling the reader (me) what’s to come. Be brave. Get creative. Tell stories. Use concepts that we have learned in the course. Tie readings or films into your essay about yourself. I.e. describe parts of this course (or others) that have impacted the way that you think about your own gender identity. This is really an essay about you — but lean on course materials where it is useful or helpful. I encourage you to be vulnerable and personal but obviously don’t disclose anything you’re not willing to share with me.

That is, it is one thing to answer a test, another thing to live the experience. It is often very difficult to comprehend the parts of science. This is especially true when urban centers provide all things for individuals. However, individuals even in groups that are provided learn a group function. That is, they acquire a process to accomplish things. The process is trial and error which is the basis of science. Therein, ● An argument can be made that in everyday life there is science. For example, a person may need to go from one place to another. ● They have to start with a basic idea of what is the best path. This idea is the hypothesis. Not necessarily true but something testable. ● They must then travel and collect information about the journey. The information if charted is data. The data can be used to make predictions about continuing the path daily or how a different path may be better. Ultimately-overtime by trial and error several paths are chosen, each one will have its own advantages, and there will now be choices; not one answer. ________________________________________ Therefore in a LAB course there may be more than one acceptable answer for a question but….that is based on the answers which must match the data presented. Meaning, it is not speculation. The path is decided by experience. A: The initial idea of; there is a path which will get to where I am going is a testable question. All science is based on this one criteria of being testable. B: Second, the path must be able to be taken by others in the future. Science must be repeatable. Therefore, if something is testable and repeatable then it is the realm of science. ________________________________________ Many things we encounter or rely on daily are science in principle and many are applied science. ● A science principle is some idea which is science based and possible. ● Applied science is the idea in action. ● The first is a hypothesis the second is the test/experiment The method of experiential ideas, and data collection is what science essentially is. Therefore, many have been doing science for sometime. However, some will forget the basics and use speculation as science when they are missing the data. Simply, no evidence or data equals no science. It is a simple yet important distinction. ________________________________________ Name:Class number and time: Prof: Date: anthbio.LAB- 3.0. mckendricksj.
