DEBATE OVER ARMED RESISTANCE THAT ANIMATED THE CIVIL RIGHTS AND BLACK POWER ARES

Introduction
Civil rights are essential in every society because they include the protections and privileges that the people enjoy under the law. It is critical to comprehend that a country provides these rights to its citizens, and human civil rights movements are often keen on ensuring that all people, regardless of their social background, enjoy their freedoms as outlined by the constitution. The civil rights activities increased in the United States in the 1950s, after the Supreme Court outlawed segregation; during this period, organizations such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) were established, and they drew members from different backgrounds and helped in eliminating a system that was found on Jim crow segregation. Most importantly, it is crucial to note that the use of armed resistance, which included activities such as retaliatory violence and other means of armed self-defence, played a considerable role in promoting the fight for civil rights and black power.
The resources have provided insights about the processes and mechanisms that the civil movements used in advocating for the rights and freedom of the minority communities. For example, the establishment of the Black Panther Party in 1966 helped in challenging the problems that African Americans faced across the United States, including police brutality. This revolutionary party was organized because the civil rights movements had failed to register progress and change the conditions of the blacks in the south. The violence and abuse of African Americans were seen as a tradition where the whites enjoyed the support of the police in fighting and killing black people. It is keynoting that Black Panthers believed that using nonviolent protects would not help in liberating the black Americans and would also not help them in obtain power over their lives.
There were various approaches that the Black Panther Party adopted in facilitating the well-being of the minority people in the United States. First, the party adopted a paramilitary organization where the leaders encouraged to take armed self-defense, which would help in challenging attacks directed towards African Americans. The party was critical for demanding issues such as peace and justice among the minority communities. Additionally, the party also played a significant role in advocating for social reforms that would help in benefiting communities that did not have access to essentials such as healthcare and food access.
Besides, the party was also keen on fighting gender inequality in American society and achieved this by ensuring that women undertook leadership roles within the party. Other civil rights activists, such as Malcolm X, played crucial roles as the ministers of the party’s information.
Malcolm X was a renowned leader among African Americans and actively involved in the civil rights movements, where he supported black nationalism. It is essential to note that Malcolm X encouraged and advised the black Americans to safeguard themselves against all forms of white aggression. Malcolm X has faced the ruthlessness of the white supremacists who had killed his father violently. Additionally, after he was sentenced for grand larceny, Malcolm X joined different African Americans’ political and religious groups, which were essential in addressing the issues that faced the blacks and other minority communities across the United States. Most importantly, after becoming a minister of a Mosque, most of his sermons favoured and self-defence, and this attracted new admirers from all over the country.
Moreover, Malcolm X disagreed with the nonviolent strategies that were advocated by other civil movement leaders such as Dr Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X believed that it was only through actions that the black communities and the minority communities would make their grievances heard. As a leader of the black Muslims across the country, Malcolm X confronted the issues of racism and segregation that minority communities faced, particularly in the southern states. Besides, as a civil movement leader, Malcolm X also denounced America as a damaging imperialist. Also, he challenged the country’s non-colonialist systems that made it possible for the white majority to abuse and discriminated against the minority communities. It is critical to understand that the ideas and the speeches that Malcolm x delivered were essential in the development of black nationalist principles, beliefs, and ideologies and also encouraged the Black Power Movement.

Instructions: The next step in the process of acquiring information is to move past what we can think of onto what we can see. That is, we have the way things are done and how to do them but we have not yet touched the work. In this case, we begin by reviewing some information regarding a trend towards bipedalism based on an arbitrary scale. That is, we use diagnostic features we can see and judge for ourselves.
Although some may believe arbitrary assessments to be vague or assumptive, this step is sometimes used by those who know about the subject. That is we have spent many weeks getting to the point where you are trained observers. That is what you see matters and you will now “show what you can do with what you know.” This quick step is used to give immediate feedback to guide the path of inquiry. For example, an arbitrary scale can give values which can be interpreted as useful or not.
The values can also be added to a graph which may show connections, divergence, and trends. Although the arbitrary assessments may be cursory they can be used to help make predictions. The predictions can aid in a direction of inquiry such as future experimental design to pursue a lead or quickly and simply rule out an assumption.
An assumption in science can be either a premise for an idea based on experience, or a prediction based on prior data. That is, the premise from an informed previous statement can lead to inquiry. Informed statements come from experience or existing data. Therefore, an assumption in science is very different from how assumptions are used in daily activities by many non-scientists.
Here we may assume that the diagnostics features listed in the drawing plantigrade, digitigrade, unguligrade highlight things of interest in relation to patterns of locomotion, in this case distinctions of speed and power compared to bipedalism.
Grade scale x/30 x 20 = score
12.1. Bipedalis.Start with an ABC about each foot grade.
Now that we have gone past the basics and the surprise that other animals have very similar skeletal structures it is time to review the basics of locomotion. Later, other forms of locomotion will be investigated in depth, but, for now it is wise to stay with what is familiar and the basic three.
On the drawing for anthbiolab.mckendricksj.footgrades.plantigrade.digitigrade.unguligrade above, observe the normal standing postures and note the following for each species A, B,and C:

Instructions: Urinalysis
This is a Hands-On Labs exercise that explores the characteristics of urine and what can cause those characteristics to change. You will be doing a visual inspection of urine and testing it with urinalysis test strips to assess the concentration of various compounds that may be present.
Procedure
Follow the directions for the Urinalysis experiment. Perform both parts: fasting and drinking distilled water. Record the data from the visual inspection and from the test strips in tables. Use that data to write a report, following the directions below for submission. **You do not need to submit the Lab Report Assistant**.
Create a Report
Use the following outline to describe the data from your lab in a report. Label each portion of the lab as described below.
Introduction: Start with a broad discussion of urine formation, and then narrow your focus to the question(s) that you are trying to answer. Conclude the introduction with a hypothesis—a statement that reflects what you believe the outcome of this lab will be. It’s a good idea to include a discussion of how you think each characteristic of urine tested will change between the fasting and distilled water consumption parts.
Material List: Identify all items that you used and the exact quantities, as applicable. This may be a very short section.
Methods: Describe how you conducted the experiment, including any safety precautions you took while performing the lab. Be sure to include any changes that you made to the original instructions. Did you use different exercises? This should be a short, paraphrased version of the methods from the lab. Do not copy from the lab; Turnitin will highlight it as plagiarism.
Results/Data: Create a table or a figure that reflects/compares the results of your experiment.
Discussion: Review your results and determine if your experiment supports or refutes your hypothesis. Explain why. Then expand your discussion to address why and how your body creates the changes you observed as you increased the level of hydration. What effect does fasting have on the results? Be specific and give details.
Conclusion: End with a section describing something that really intrigued you; identify errors that may have impacted your results, or note errors in the lab itself; and provide recommendations for future labs.
Requirements:
If you are doing the report, it should be 4-5 pages long, not including the title page.
Reference at least two journal articles.
Include a title page and references at the end.

Instructions: PARADOX SETUP
There are 10 identical boxes on a shelf, each with a padlock. There is only 1 key that can open all of these 10 boxes and Stu has the key. Prof places a unique token (called a “test”) into 1 of the 10 boxes. Stu then locks them all and leaves the room. Prof can move the boxes around in any way she wants, but she must line them up on the shelf from left to right. When Stu comes back into the room, he will open the boxes from left to right. Now imagine that Stu is playing against Prof in a game. The rules are that Prof wins if she can create an algorithm (i.e., a method) to guarantee that Stu is surprised when he opens the box that contains the token. So, Stu is absolutely certain that the test is in one of the boxes and he knows that Prof wants to win the game and will do her best to surprise Stu. Stu wins the game if Prof’s algorithm does not guarantee that Stu will be surprised.
• If we assume that everyone involved is perfectly rational, who will win this game, Stu or Prof?
• If you think that Prof will win, provide the strategy that you think she can win with, along with an explanation for why it guarantees that Stu will be surprised.
• If you think that Stu will win, explain in detail why it will be impossible for Prof to come up with any algorithm that wins with 10 boxes. Will Stu win regardless of how many boxes Prof can use? Explain.
