Core standards are important for both the teacher and the student. On the one hand, it helps the teacher improve his skills in teaching the field and ensure high-quality performance despite the demands of the profession. On the other hand, it also helps the student to develop the skills needed and required to be able to pass state and federal assessment tests.
Accordingly, the experience on utilizing the content standards show how helpful it is to measure the students’ baseline skills and improvement as well as determine the most effective strategy to guide the students in their learning.
For example, one of the standards that are most difficult for my students include the use of statistics and probability (CDE.CA.Gov, 2019). In fact, almost half of the class needed to be taught twice or thrice in order for them to fully grasp the concept. To tackle these, nonetheless, it is important that the instructor use creative ways. I discovered this because one of the reasons for the students’ difficulty is the relative ‘intangibility’ of the standard as compared to the others.

If you are struggling to develop your critique, start with considering the effectiveness or impact of the artwork. Does the artwork change the way you think about something? Does it not? Does it make you think differently about some ideas, but not others? Does the work operate only on sensationalism or shock value? Is the work well-researched and nuanced providing many interpretations by many different people?
In the following paragraphs, describe the artwork at length and provide your arguments that support and flesh out your critique of the artwork. In these paragraphs, you are answering WHY you critique the artwork in this way.
In your concluding paragraph, relay your thesis (that is not just re-stating it) that summarizes your perceived impact of the work of art.
Think about the artwork’s personal impact upon you, the cultural impact of the artwork, the historical impact, and/or the political impact of the artwork.
7. Embed an image of the work you discussed within your essay. Add an appropriate citation to your Works Cited page.

Discussion: Applying Measurement Tools
One example of a measurement tool is the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) comprehensive care measures. Review the eight components of HEDIS comprehensive diabetes care; then consider the following scenario.
You are a staff nurse working in a private primary care practice. It is a small practice with 2 MDs (internists), 2 nurses, 1 medical assistant, and an office staff for billing. There are approximately 1,000 patients in the practice. You have had no EHR until the last year, but all charts are manual, historically. Your physicians are starting to inquire about quality incentives, particularly regarding patients with diabetes.
By Day 3
Take on the role of the staff nurse in the scenario, and post an explanation of how you would go about finding out how many diabetics are in your practice and how many meet all 8 components of HEDIS comprehensive diabetes care.

This class is Policy Evaluation Analytics
This is the first step in preparation for your Mid-Term Exam Assignment (Assignment 2). We will go through robust number of PLMs, building your knowledge of PLMs. This is an iterative process from which you should gain significant understanding of the purpose of such models.
This assignment requires students to identify an organization and one of its programs for which the student will develop a PLM in Assignment 2 (Mid-Term Exam). Assignment 1 details follow.
Specific Instructions
1. Each student will seek out and identify an organization and one of its programs. Students CAN NOT duplicate organizations or programs. Each student must have a separate entity and program, which much be approved by the instructor.
2. The organizations can be public entities such a municipal government or agency thereof, not for profit organizations (NGO), philanthropic organizations, and even for profit companies. It can be an organization that you work for or in which you participate. It can be a community organization group. The essential requirement is it has program, which may or may not have existing program models. For our purposes it is best if there is no existing documented PLM.
3. Prepare no more than a 1- page narrative that:
(a) Identifies the organization which you will use for Assignment 2;
(b) Provides brief description of the organization, explaining what and where it is and what it does; and the specific program type that you will analyze. Also provide the url for the organization;
(c) What relationship you have with the organization, if any; and
