Concert Report Guidelines For this assignment you are to attend a concert and report back with a written report, using some of your new understanding from this course. It is to be descriptive and should include some references to what you have learned in this class. Acceptable concerts 1. A sit down concert (no posh pits). 2. Live performers of more traditional instruments (no (turntables or Midi sequencers, unless they are in (concert with live performers). 3. Style of music is less important than the fact that you are there only to listen. (no dancing, imbibing, eating, etc.) 4. Preferably a concert of music not normally in your usual listening milieu. 5. Concert must be attended during the current semester. What to look for Review the items listed below. While it is important to be supportive of the performers and allow yourself to continue to simply enjoy the music, some added levels of appreciation and sensitivity can make your experience richer. Contents of the Report Be sure to include enough descriptive material to let me know what it is exactly that you heard—relate the musical activities to your knowledge of music theory (rhythm, melody, harmony, instrumentation, historical period). What was surprising, if anything? What was done well? What was done poorly? What was your personal reaction to the music? If it was an ensemble, were the performers listening to or communicating with each other? What did you like about it or not like about it? Length and date due You paper should be 400-500 words, and it is due the week before the final week of the course. Earlier is OK. ENJOY the concert!

Concert Report
Earlier this year, I was fortunate enough to attend the performance of the Pirate of Penzance by the National G&S Opera Company. Their concert was held at the Wilson Auditorium and I had the opportunity to get a ticket for their play back on October 14. Even though I’m not originally a fan of operas, I was interested at the number of the people who were waiting for the performance to start. Most of them are waiting eagerly until the time came. Upon entering the auditorium, the whole set looks exquisite. An orchestra is placed strategically at the bottom of the stage, where all of its members are preparing. Before opening the curtain, the orchestra played an overture signaling the start of the performance. It was that time when I started to feel the tension, particularly when the timpanist started filling the harmony with loud successive beats. Then the curtain opened.
As the curtain opened, one of the first thing that piqued my interest is the design of the stage. As an opera, I didn’t realize that the set would be exquisitely designed. Nonetheless, the visual element has surely added a greater impact towards the play. In terms of musicality, I realized that the eagerness and hype of those outside were not for naught. In fact, the beginning of the performance started with an upbeat melody,

Instructions: Attached is an Excel spreadsheet containing Bureau of Labor Statistics Data. Preview the document for mean salary and number of employment positions available based on a particular occupation code sorted by state. Think about a state you wish to work in. Create a table or tab in the worksheet of all of the occupations in your state of choice that have the word “manage”* in the Occupational Title field. You’ve now created a subset of the original data set from which additional analysis can be made.
*The term managerial positions will be defined as any position with the word “manage” in the title. The reason the word “manage” should be used as a filter is that this will include occupations with the word manager or management in the title.
Answer the following questions using the data subset you created:
What is the average salary for your chosen state of all managerial positions?
How many total managerial positions are available in your state?
What percentage of the total number of employment positions in your state are managerial positions? ***Hint: You will need to refer back to all of the positions in your state to calculate this.
What does this information mean to you as a prospective job seeker in this state looking for a managerial position? 2 pages / approx 550 words | APA | English (US) 🇺🇸 | Essay | Management | Undergraduate |
Instructions: Choose two objects in the current chapters in your textbook that are thematically related (landscapes, portraits, religious subjects, historical monuments, etc.).
Write an essay of at least 450 words using 12 point font and double-spaced text) comparing the formal treatment and iconography of each work. Be sure to identify each object by indicating the artist, title, and date of production. Your essay should address how similarities and differences contribute to your understanding of each work’s meaning or artistic significance. You should analyze these points: stylistic choices (e.g., abstract, naturalistic, idealistic, realistic), function or symbolism of the pieces (What were they used for? Do they communicate a message? Are they sacred or secular works of art), cultural context (e.g., how might the way of life at the time and place the pieces were created affected their function and style? Do historical events relate to the image or story depicted?). In addition, I expect you to refer to the course readings, including the primary readings I uploaded to BlackBoard, in the essays. You must cite at least one source that is not our text book.
Use Chicago-Turabian style notation for any sources that you need to document as references in footnotes. Double-space your text and list your name and the date in the header on the first page. In almost all cases, you should italicize the title of a work of art. Consult the Chicago-Turabian sample essay I provided you for more information concerning formatting. Include at least two illustrations.
Submit your text in DOC, DOCX or PDF format. Due Friday night, 11:59 p.m.
Use two objects which I uploaded two different self-portrait to compare. THANK YOU!

Instructions: Assignment Guidelines:
Select one artist covered in the lecture and one of their artworks to critique.
Title the essay in a way that provides anticipation for the content of the essay.
In the introductory paragraph of your essay, introduce the artist and artwork providing background information for each.
For example: What is the artist’s name? What is their nationality? Where do they live? What type of work do they make? What artwork are you going to cover? What is its title? What materials is it made out of? When was it made? How is the piece experienced?
At the end of the introductory paragraph, provide your thesis. This is your critique of the artwork.
There are many judgements you may have for the work of art you are writing about and it is up to you to develop those into your critique. If you are struggling to develop your critique, start with considering the effectiveness or impact of the artwork. Does the artwork change the way you think about something? Does it not? Does it make you think differently about some ideas, but not others? Does the work operate only on sensationalism or shock value? Is the work well-researched and nuanced providing many interpretations by many different people?
In the following paragraphs, describe the artwork at length and provide your arguments that support and flesh out your critique of the artwork. In these paragraphs, you are answering WHY you critique the artwork in this way.
In your concluding paragraph, relay your thesis (that is not just re-stating it) that summarizes your perceived impact of the work of art.
Think about the artwork’s personal impact upon you, the cultural impact of the artwork, the historical impact, and/or the political impact of the artwork.
7. Embed an image of the work you discussed within your essay. Add an appropriate citation to your Works Cited page.

Instructions: You are to create a thoughtful and reflective essay that includes a minimum of four paragraphs (a paragraph must contain a minimum of three sentences, even though APA states two sentences) that addresses the expectations as listed below. This reflective essay may be written in first person because this is your personal reflection. The reflection must be based on the signature assignment, which was two Problem Based Learning (PBL) clinical patient cases. This assignment is graded on how well you address the expectations of the reflection, please make sure you address each of the expectations as listed below!
Expectations of reflection:
1. Introductory paragraph that describes:
-the signature assignment of the Problem Based Learning clinical case study.
-How does what you learned through completing this signature assignment connect to the learning outcomes in this course? (you must write about how they connect to at least 2 of the 3 course CLOs)
CLOS
Assess the various techniques of periodontal therapy.
Analyze a problem based case to meet the comprehensive needs of a patient.
Justify the need for surgical periodontal treatment referrals.
Completing these two pbls helped me understand the topics of implants and orthodontics. We were given two patients and from the case study our prpofessor gave us a particular topic that we had to address and become professional in.
– Describe the gains over the term you have made in achieving the CLOs.
The gains I have made is that I am better to understand the involvement of perio and how it affects orthodontics and implants. With orthodontics I learned that it cannot be placed if it the patient has osseous crater, furcation’s, and three-wall defects. With implants I learned that there are so many times and each one is used for specific reasons.
2.A paragraph (or more) that includes:
What challenges did you encounter in completing this assignment?
-The challenges I encountered was findings new research in the recent 2 year about my topic. Most of the researches were from years ago.
How did you solve these challenges?
-I solved these challenges by getting extra help from our school librarian.
What were the successes you had in completing this assignment?
The success was that I was easly about to find information nabout my topic and it was pretty easy to go into detail about them.
3. A paragraph (or more) that discusses your learning throughout this term:
Describe the learning process throughout the course, what it felt like as you
progressed and mastered certain skills (developing key facts, hypothesis,
learning needs and applying these to effective poster board presentations).
Through out this term it was difficult retaning all the information of periodontology. There is a lot of key facts that need to be memories in order to figure out what status the patient is. In order to be able to see if a patient is periodontally involved you need to go and check many things.
What skills have you obtained from the PBL process and how will you apply
those skills to private practice?
-The skill I have obtained is that now I can easily research a topic and learn about it in detail. It can help me in private practice because I know now what periodontally involved patients need or how to diagnose if they are periodontally involved.
Discuss the skills you are still developing related to the PBL process and your
plans to continue your learning to ensure you remain knowledgeable and competent in the future.
-These skills that I have obtained will help me when I graduate and become a RDH. I can take this to private practice where I will need to explain all these information to the dentist when with a patient.
4.A paragraph (or more) that discusses a connection between what you studied in this course and what you learned in previous courses.
-What I have learned in this course plays the most important role in my clinic class. I. need to know these information when seeing a patient in order to successful create a correct dental hygiene care plan.
Specifically describe how what you learned in other classes enhance what you learned in this class.
-Last term in the periodontology class I was in it helped me learn the basis information for this applied periodontology.
Reflect on what you thought about the CLO’s at the beginning of the class and how you think about them now.
Please look at the clos I provided above and make something up.
What has changed in your assumptions and understanding?

Introduction:
400,000 Indians die each year from TB. It is the leading cause of death in the ages 15-45 and has the greatest affect on the poverty stricken regions. Several risk factors for TB are HIV, lack of knowledge, urban congestion and pollution, barriers in health care, and cultural differences. TB causes large economic losses, financial burdens to poor families, losses in education, and even familial rejection of infected women. QUESTION
Byron Sharp’s ‘How Brands Grow’ has become an important guide for many brand managers and many of his concepts have been embraced by some of the world’s biggest brands.
a. Explain Byron Sharp’s ‘Double Jeopardy Law’ and what it means for brand managers who want to grow a small brand.
b. Explain the concept of ‘Memory Structure’ and provide an example of a brand that has used a ‘Distinctive Brand Asset’ to help build ‘Memory Structure’
Double Jeopardy
If a large brand (i.e. 800 customers) and a small brand (i.e. 200 customers) retain their market share when 100 customers switch in a period, the big brand gains and loses 12.5% of its customer base, while the small brand gains and loses 50%.
Half of the small brand’s customers are exchanged!
The secret to penetration gain is to develop ‘memory structure’ and be top of mind when the consumer has a ‘job to be done’
Distinctive assets, like design elements, colours, celebrities, activations, etc. all help to build memory structure.
A brand with strong memory structure most likely to be top of mind at the purchase decision moment.
Brands with strong memory structure gain penetration and become larger brands. 2 pages / approx 550 words | Business & Marketing | English (US) 🇺🇸 | Essay | Harvard | Undergraduate |
