China has made significant contributions to the culinary and technology advancements that we have today; their vast and diverse environment has allowed them with enough resources to develop their own distinct culture and language gradually. Papermaking, printing, gunpowder, and the compass all originated in China, and the creation of paper revolutionized how we recorded history in the past. Chinese people have their own distinct cuisine that developed in their homeland and is now enjoyed by millions of people all over the world. Because of their beautiful scenery, which was also used for trading back then, their cultures were also transferred to other countries, which we today admire and appreciate. In this post, the author will address why Chinese culture is essential to the entire community and me and how I want to promote their rich culture on our campus.

Perhaps, for someone like myself who knows very little about Chinese history, the essential aspect of Chinese history is their food, because it is well recognized in present times. Dumplings are one of my favorite foods, and I am sure the rest of the community feels the same way. Nevertheless, if we dig deeper, I can say that I am grateful to them for creating paper, which enabled knowledge transport considerably

Readings for Section B: Friedman, T. L. (2017). “Chapter Two: What the Hell Happened in 2007” in Thank You for Being Late: An Optimist’s Guide to Thriving in the Age of Accelerations . Picador/Farrar Straus and Giroux.ActionsHarari, Y. (2018). “Chapter Four: Equality” in 21 Lessons for the 21st Century. New York: Random House.Actions 10. The World is Flat was published in 2005. Once Tom Friedman finished the book he thought he would be able to return to the business of being a journalist, comfortable with the ‘framework’ that he had established. Then 2007 happened and challenged his thinking. How does he explain how the year 2007 altered his “view of how the Machine worked” in his chapter “What the Hell Happened in 2007”?[I encourage you to consult a number of sources when developing your answer. For instance, Tom Friedman’s MIT Compton Lecture (Links to an external site.) [Fall 2018] and his discussion with Yuval Harari “How To Understand Our Times” (Links to an external site.) might be of utility, not just as substance for this and the following questions, but also as useful prompts to consider your own thinking on various ‘questions of our day’).] 11) Friedman draws attention to the following graph (Astro Teller graph) in his chapter “What the Hell Happened in 2007”. 11. Please explain what “we are here” actually means in this graph and using both the writings of Friedman and Harari please outline several risks of being in this position on the graph (Please be thorough with your explanation). 12. Citing Teller, Friedman argues that we are all going to need to learn the “bicycle trick”. What does he mean by this metaphor?

Locate an example of a policy or guideline from an external source to a healthcare organization. Explain how this policy or guideline may be a constraint to a healthcare organization’s planning, or how it may shape the healthcare organization’s philosophy. For example, given that the American Academy of Pediatrics offers guidelines on child vaccinations, these guidelines might impact the ability of the healthcare organization to deliver services to newborns and infants. Using a similar example, as well as the characteristics of effective plans as your framework, discuss how proper planning can help organizations in their future decision making. Guided Response: Review several of your classmates’ posts. Provide a substantive response to at least two of your peers.  In commenting on the policies that your classmates have presented, describe the relationship between the political environment and health care decision making.  Why are they so interconnected?

Details: 12 pt. Times New Roman font Double-spaced 1″ margins Last name and page numbers as headers In-text citations, if possible Prompt: For this exam, we are focusing on Nikki Finney’s Rice and the particular challenge we’ll work on is how to read analytically across more than one poem. To structure that work, I’d like you to begin with an idea or concept (e.g. body, land, family, gender, violence etc.) that you understand to be broadly relevant to the project of Finney’s volume. In the first sentence of your exam, you’ll identify this concept. Then, you’ll formulate a question about that concept that is big enough to be applicable to more than one poem, but not so broad as to be ungrounded in the specific poems that you’ll close read. A question like: “Why is the concept of family important to Finney’s Rice?” is too broad; one like: “How does Finney use the idea of outer-space to theorize Blackness?” is probably too specific to “Mae/I”; but something like: “What potentially non- normative forms of reproduction does Finney think about using the metaphor of the seed?” is about right. Then, you’ll show how two poems answer the question you’ve posed. You do not have to find a unifying answer to the questions across the two poems. Instead, what links your analyses of the poems will be the question itself. If you’d like you can even structure your answer in numbered sections (i. introduction ii. reading one iii. reading two).

When we know that others do have the same experiences, do not see the same things, and have a different world view we can begin to acknowledge their differences as a result of their worldview and not always an absolute sense of knowing we are us and yet we alone are right.
